This site is the home of the Broadmead Ultimate Frisbeeheads. We are a fun-loving group who plays pickup Ultimate Frisbee in Princeton, New Jersey. All skill levels are welcome, the only requirement is a commitment to the "spirit of the game."
Spring 2026 DST schedule:
- Tuesday - 5:30PM
- Thursday - 5:30PM
- Sunday - 3PM
Format is game to 7 points, win by 2, cap at 9. We typically play 2 - 3 games. Teams are adjusted between games for balance. Please bring a light and dark top, and plenty of water in summer.
RSVP invites are emailed 24-48 hrs ahead of games via the Frisbeeheads mailing list, and player attendance is confirmed 1-2 hours prior to gametime. Please reply to game emails if you are attending. The group emails contain the location of the game (usually in the subject line), which varies based on availability & conditions.
The exact time of sunset is very important to Frisbeeheads (especially in the fall and winter months). To understand why the shortest day of the year - Dec. 21 - does not have the earliest sunset, click here.
Frisbeeheads sent a team, Eels on Wheels, to Wildwood Beach Ultimate in 2014 (picture), in 2015 (picture), in 2016 (picture), in 2017 (picture), in 2018 (picture), in 2019 (picture), in 2021 (picture), in 2022 (picture), in 2023 (picture), in 2024 (picture), and in 2025 (picture). Eels on Wheels has won Best in Bracket for the past 4 years. Here are short videos of the championship point from 2023 and 2025.
Frisbeeheads usually sends a team to the Rider Huck of Fools tournament. In 2023 (picture), 2024 (picture), and 2026 (picture) we took home the winner's trophy, "Hoppers".
The Frisbeeheads have experimented with night Ultimate (movie). Caution: we are trained professionals, don't try this at home! But seriously, 14 players running around in the dark can be dangerous.
